REDMOND, Wash. — Redmond police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an assault at the CHIME Music Festival in Downtown Park on Saturday, June 14.
According to police, the incident occurred in the men’s restroom when the suspect allegedly wrapped his arm around one victim’s neck, choking him and spraying him with pepper spray.
The suspect then reportedly sprayed another adult man and a female child with pepper spray before fleeing the scene on foot.
Detectives are requesting cellphone video footage of the assault to help identify the suspect. He is described as an Asian male, approximately 40 to 50 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark blue shirt, blue jeans, and possibly gloves. The suspect was last seen running south towards Coastline Burgers.
