With President Donald Trump saying there’s going to be a UFC fight at the White House for the United States’ 250th anniversary, the Ultimate Fighting Championship goes to “Music City” for UFC Fight Night in the meantime. Derrick Lewis (28-12-0) takes on Tallison Teixeira (8-0-0) as the main card’s marquee heavyweight matchup.
On Saturday, July 12, UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Teixeira takes place live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Prelims began at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT. The main card starts at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. If you want to watch UFC Fight Night, the MMA event livestreams online on ESPN+.
“As far as the opponent is concerned, it didn’t get me as much because I’m thinking Derrick Lewis, to me — I see him as another guy just like the previous eight that fell,” Teixeira said to UFC.com about his undefeated record. “I have to see him that way, and that’s how I see him, so it wasn’t that.”
