“Meikin Asia” music festival expected to host over 10,000 guests

AKIPRESS.COM – The IV International Festival “Meikin Asia”, scheduled for July 20-22 in Cholpon-Ata, is expected to host over 10,000 guests from 25 countries, festival coordinator Ryskul Boronbaev said.

The first two days of the festival will feature a competition among participants, with winners and other performers taking the stage on the third day. Winners will be selected through electronic voting.

The jury will consist of seven members from various countries, including Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Boronbaev expressed optimism that “Meikin Asia” will soon achieve “Class A” status, elevating it to a world-class event.

“Meikin Asia” is an international festival for popular music performers, traditionally held in Cholpon-Ata, on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul.
