Fun in the Sun at The Cross Inn, Hayscastle Cross will take place on Saturday July 19 from 2pm to 11pm and features a 10-act line-up.
The pub’s outside stage will be the venue for a wide range of lively performances – ranging from a Young Farmers’ Club skit to sets by well-known local folk group, Phil Folk, Pembrokeshire ‘Battle of the Bands’ winners The Monarchs, Tara Bandito, who is one of BBC Wales’ Bethan Elfyn’s top five artistes and local jazz funk band JunkMood.
There will also be music inside the pub from 10pm.
The acts have given their time free of charge and local breweries and cider houses have donated drink for the cash-only Macmillan bar in the beer garden, with all proceeds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
A spokesperson for the Cross Inn said: “As a community hub and pub, we have become aware of the number of families and friends affected by living with cancer and appreciated the support and help given by local and national cancer support charities.”
In addition to the garden bar, the pub will be serving their usual full range of drinks, with street food available throughout the event.
Entry is free of charge and ample parking is provided in a nearby field.
