The Ken and Sandy Beall Cello Plus Chamber Music Festival will present three concerts the week of Oct. 6 at Michigan State University, highlighting a unique cross-section of chamber music, from a Haydn symphonia to a jazz reimagining of the genre.
At 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, Camerata Michigan, conducted by MSU alumnus Tigran Shiganyan, presents Haydn’s Sinfonia Concertante along with other chamber works.
The second concert, Jazz Infusion, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, features Grammy-winning pianist Taylor Eigsti, MSU bassist Rodney Whitaker and special guests in a genre-blending concert that presents chamber music through a jazz lens.
Both concerts take place at Fairchild Theatre, 542 Auditorium Road, East Lansing.
The closing concert, Gems for Cellos, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at Cook Recital Hall, 333 W. Circle Drive, East Lansing.

Reserved seating tickets for individual events are $19 for adults, $17 for seniors (age 60 and older), and $9 for students and those under 18.
