Some new bros are joining the cast of Netflix’s “Little Brother.”
Chris Meloni (“Law & Order: Organized Crime,” “Happy”), Ego Nwodim (“Saturday Night Live,” “Mr. Throwback”), Sherry Cola (“Nobody Wants This,” “JoyRide”), Caleb Hearon (“The Devil Wears Prada 2,” “Sweethearts”) and Ben Ahlers (“The Gilded Age”) have joined the cast of the comedy feature, alongside previously announced stars John Cena and Eric Andre.
The film follows a famous real estate agent whose carefully curated world is upended when his eccentric “little brother” unexpectedly reappears.
Matt Spicer will direct the film from a script by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel. Producers include David Bernad for Middle Child Pictures and Ruben Fleischer.
Meloni is best known for his role as Elliot Stabler in the “Law and Order” universe, on both “Special Victims Unit” and “Organized Crime.” His film credits include “Snatched,” “Man of Steel,” “42” and “IF.”
Nwodim has starred on “Saturday Night Live” since 2018. Additional credits include “Mr. Throwback,” “Poker Face,” “Brockmire” and “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile.”
Cola most recently appeared in the hit Netflix comedy “Nobody Wants This.” She is perhaps best known for her role in the Freeform series “Good Trouble,” which aired for five seasons. Her film credits include “Joy Ride,” “A Family Affair,” and “Shortcomings.”
Hearon was named one of Variety‘s Comics to Watch, and his debut stand-up special premieres later this fall. He recently starred in “Sweethearts” and appeared in “I Used to Be Funny,” “Jurassic World Dominion,” “Fargo,” “Work in Progress,” and MUNA’s “Silk Chiffon” video. He is next set to appear in Hulu’s Untitled BriTANicK Pizza Movie and “The Devil Wears Prada 2.”
Ahlers is best known for roles on NBC’s “The Village” and HBO’s “The Gilded Age.” He recently appeared in the second season of “The Last of Us.”
