Scoop Music Festival, in Lanchester, will take place between Friday, July 25 and Sunday, July 27.
Other festivals in the North East such as Kubix in Sunderland, Northern Kin in County Durham and Firthmoor Live in Darlington have all been cancelled this summer.
Organisers of all of the festivals cited increasing financial pressures for their cancellations.
But one festival that will be going ahead this summer is Scoop Music Festival.
Where and when is it?
It will take place from Friday July 25 to Sunday July 27. The festival will be held at the original Lanchester show grounds at Esp Green Farm
The event will start at 5pm on the Friday and 11am on the Saturday, running until 11pm both days. On the Sunday it will start again at 11am and close at 6pm.
There is a soft opening on Thursday, July 24, allowing festival goers to set up their tents and have “a pint and a dance”.

Who is performing?
There is a bumper line-up of musicians, bands and DJs across the three days of the festival. Guns MacRoses (Guns N’ Roses), Red Hot Chilipinos (Red Hot Chilli Peppers), Sons of Nirvana (Nirvana) and The Foo Fifers (Foo Fighters) are just some of the tribute acts taking to the stage.
There will also be a number of DJs performing across the three days, including headliner Jon Pleased Wimmin and Spaced (Ibiza anthems and Fatboy Slim experience).
What other attractions will there be?
There will also be children’s entertainment, adult rides, market stalls and workshops. Licensed bars and a number of food concessions will be on site.
Are dogs allowed at the festival?
Yes. Scoop Music Festival is a dog-friendly festival.

Prices vary depending on who is going and for how long, with single day tickets, two day tickets and full weekend tickets available for families and other festival goers.
There are also a number of VIP tickets available, as well as tickets for under 18s. A ticket to park for the full weekend costs £10.
