Undercover Festival, which has toured locations across the south for more than a decade, will take place at The Showground, Battlesbridge Antiques Centre, on September 26 and 27.
The festival promises a “hipster-free zone” with a packed line-up of alternative, punk, ska, and post-punk bands.
Mick, the festival organiser, said: “At Undercover many arrive as strangers and leave as friends – it’s easy to say but it’s true, such is the unique and friendly atmosphere you get at an Undercover Festival.
“We believe we have most bases covered; with the recent changes the line-up is now complete.”
The festival will feature a wide range of bands including Skids, Subhumans, Popes of Chillitown, and Eddie & The Hot Rods.
Richard Jobson of Skids said: “Can’t wait to be part of the Undercover Festival.
“Heard great things about it. The Skids will unleash a new set as we start to prepare for the Absolute Game tour.
“We’re ready. Are you?”
Popes of Chillitown’s Arvin added: “We’re really looking forward to playing Undercover Festival in Essex this year.
“The line-up is pure vibes, and we’re pleased to finally be a part of it.”
There will also be a strong line-up of supporting acts, many hailing from Essex, including Destroy The Idols, Monumental, and Dharma Hounds.
Tickets, priced at £79, include camping, showers, parking, and access to attractions such as a museum, record shops, and vintage sellers.
Day tickets are also available but are expected to sell out soon.
Tickets can be purchased online from Gigantic or in-person at Undercover gigs, Intense Records in Chelmsford, Sounds of the Suburbs Records in Ruislip, and Dirt in Norwich.
The festival comes as Undercover Festival hits the road after a run at Guildford’s The Suburbs at the Holroyd.
The venue will still be home to Undercover’s regular gigs, with at least 20 booked for 2025 and more for 2026.
