BETHLEHEM, Pa. – It’s day two at Blast Furnace Blues Fest at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.
The 14th annual festival honors the deep roots and powerful legacy of the American blues tradition.
Multi-Grammy nominated blues vocalist Shemekia Copeland is Sunday’s headliner at 7:30 p.m. at the Levitt Stage.
The two day festival included different versions of blues music including flares of soul, funk, and jazz.
The rainy day did not keep people away from getting their feet and dancing to the tunes.
“The connection between Blast Furnace Blues and the Lehigh Valley audience that come out year after year to support this festival only continues to grow as we bring in great artists from all over the world,” said Patrick Brogan, ArtsQuest’s Chief Programming Officer.
If you still want to check out the Blues, the festival runs until 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.
