AUSTIN, Texas —

Sun and Heat Dominate ACL Weekend Two

If you’re heading to ACL Music Festival Weekend 2 in Austin, get ready for a scorcher! 

The forecast calls for consistently hot and sunny weather with temperatures climbing into the 90s all three days. Attendees should plan to prioritize hydration, sun protection, and dealing with the inevitable dust.

The forecast for the festival weekend, running from Friday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct.12, looks beautiful but sweltering, as high temperatures throughout the week will remain in the low to mid-90s, with Monday seeing the hottest day at 94.

Friday will see the temperature rise quickly, hitting the 90-degree mark by mid-afternoon. According to the hourly forecast:

• By 11 a.m., the temperature will already be 81.

• The peak heat is expected around 5 p.m. with a high of 92.

• Even by 7 p.m., it will still be a warm 86.

• The good news is there is a 0% chance of rain throughout the day.
